Firstly listen about that place, it was rather negative in my mind. I think that place seems like “warung cethe” in my town. But after I came to that place, I found the difference nuance, very unique and interesting. That place can describe the javanese culture in the past when the people lived simple and charitable way.
In pedestrian many people hilariously sit to eat some food. Many of them eat "cat rice" which is the icon in angkringan. There are two types of that rice, the first is rice with tempe and the second is rice with egg.
Beside eating rice, we can enjoy many side dishes among others, egg sate, fried, etc. And for drink we can enjoy “teh tarik”, the mix between tea and milk, very nice.
Moreover, we accompanied the street musician with the good voice. Really a nice experience for me.
